Hardware Evaluation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sensor, ISP, SoC and lens verification.
- Validate IR distance performance and power consumption.
- Review and validate component manufacturers and alternate components.
- Conduct component lifecycle assessment.
- Evaluate PCB quality, thermal performance and power supply stability.
- Prepare Hardware Evaluation Reports and BOM Approval Reports.
- Recommend product approval based on technical evaluation.
- Coordinate with product, sourcing and QA teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of embedded hardware, PCB design and electronic components.
- Hands-on with testing instruments and validation techniques.
- Analytical documentation and report writing.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving.
Preference Criteria:
- Experience in CCTV, surveillance, consumer electronics or embedded hardware.
- Exposure to BOM validation and new product evaluation.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination.
