Firmware & Software Validation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Functional testing including ONVIF, RTSP, browser compatibility and mobile app testing.
- Cyber security validation including password policy, vulnerability testing and network penetration review.
- Performance validation including frame rate, bit rate and recording performance.
- AI feature validation: Human, Vehicle, Face Detection, Face Recognition, ANPR, Intrusion Detection and Tripwire.
- Validate KPIs: Detection accuracy, false alarm rate and processing latency.
- Prepare Firmware Release Approval, Software Validation Report, AI Benchmark Report and Analytics Accuracy Report.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of IP surveillance, networking and embedded firmware.
- Strong analytical, testing and documentation skills.
Preference Criteria
- 3–6 years in firmware/software validation for surveillance or embedded products.
